FULL RESULTS: November 2021 Midwifery board exam list of passers, top 10


MANILA, Philippines – The November 2021 Midwifery or midwives board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are expected to be released on November 11-12, 2021 or in 3-4 working days after the last day of exam.

PRC conducted the first Midwife licensure exam during the pandemic on November 7 and 8 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Melchor C. dela Cruz Jr., Chairman; Remy B. Dequiña, Lolita I. Dicang, Rhodora L. Lopez and Lerma Valenzuela, Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, PRC said.


VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

Midwife board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.


COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The two-day midwives board exam covered the following subjects: obstetrics, fundamentals of health care, infant care and feeding (November 7) and primary health care and professional growth and development (November 8).


RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1283 s. 2020, the target release of Midwife board exam results is after three (3) working days from the last day of exam or expected on November 11, 2021.

However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.


PREVIOUS EXAMS

In the November 2019 Midwife Licensure Examination, PRC announced results after three (3) working days. A total of 1,068 out of 2,219 passed the exams. Mhenrada Kulayan Bandahala from Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery led the passers with 90.95%.

In the April 2019 Midwife exams, results were also released in 3 working days. A total of 460 out of 1,416 passed the exams. Melanie May Misal Cuba and Thinkerbell Maranan Lafuerte, both from Mabini College-Daet, aced the board with 88.80%.
