DORTMUND, Germany, Feb. 25, 2025 — Optics manufacturer HIKMICRO presented its newest thermal monoculars, the FALCON 2.0 and CONDOR LRF 2.0, at JAGD & HUND Dortmund 2025. These devices are designed for superior thermal hunting performance, embodying the company’s “Mastery Made Easy” philosophy and reinforcing its commitment to providing hunters with “Continually Make Crafted Confidence.” The new models realize the “Mastery Made Easy” theme through two main features: “Mastery Performance” for improved image quality and usability enhancements for simple, one-handed operation.
Both the FALCON 2.0 and CONDOR LRF 2.0 offer easy, one-hand operation and deliver crisp, clear images, advancing technological capabilities while respecting traditional hunting values. They both feature a high-end 15mK thermal detector, which captures subtle temperature differences for exceptional detail.
The devices are equipped with HIKMICRO’s Shutterless Image System (HSIS), providing uninterrupted viewing without the distracting image freezing issues experienced by hunters in the past. Furthermore, Image Pro and Zoom Pro technologies are integrated into both models, further improving their “Mastery Performance” capabilities.
According to Mr. Wang, HIKMICRO R&D expert, “We improved the FALCON and CONDOR models with ‘Mastery Performance’ and user-friendly, ‘One-handed, easy operation’ functions. These upgrades ensure consistently high image quality for comfortable viewing, while the enhanced usability provides a streamlined and intuitive user experience.”
Both the CONDOR LRF 2.0 and the FALCON 2.0 (FQ50L model) include laser rangefinder (LRF) functionality with an accuracy of up to 1000m (±1m). The CONDOR LRF 2.0 has an integrated LRF with an ergonomically designed compact form, while the FALCON 2.0 (FQ50L) maintains a conventional cylindrical shape with an in-lens LRF. Both provide extended battery life, operating for more than six hours with an optimized 21700 battery. For continuous use during longer hunting trips, users can connect external power banks or replace batteries.
The new designs focus on single-handed operation. The rear focus wheel and in-line button layout allow for natural operation for hunters of all skill levels. The CONDOR LRF 2.0’s compact, ergonomic build naturally fits in the hand, while the FALCON 2.0 series retains the classic cylindrical shape preferred by some hunters. Both models have clearly defined buttons and operate quietly to avoid spooking wary animals.
