MANILA, Philippines – The December 2021 Criminologist board exam or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) results, which include the alphabetical list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools are expected to be released online between January 5 and 21, 2022 or in 15-27 working days from the last day of exams.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology administered the CLE on December 12, 13 and 14, 2021 (Sunday to Tuesday) in Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Mati, Naga, Occidental Mindoro, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tagum, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The members of the Board of Criminology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez, Hon. Warren M. Corpuz and Hon. Lani T. Palmones, Members.

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS AND OATHTAKING
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Visit the official website of PRC (https://online.prc.gov.ph/) and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Criminology board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The December 2021 Criminologist board exam covered the following subjects:
criminal jurisprudence, procedure and evidence and law enfocement administration (Day 1)
criminalistics, crime detection and investigation (Day 2)
sociology of crimes and ethics and correctional administration (Day 3).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1283 s. 2020, which deals with the ‘Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2021’, the target release of Criminologist board exam results is on Friday, January 21, 2022 or in 27 working days after the exam. However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
The computed number of days (27) excludes 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 holidays – special non-working day on December 30 for Rizal Day and New Year’s Day.
We advise examinees to monitor announcement of results from January 5 (Wednesday).
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the last CLE before the pandemic (November 2019), PRC announced results in twenty-two (22) working days. A total of 19,191 out of 43,512 (44.11%) passed the exams. Fahadale Saripada Abbas from John Paul II College led the passers with 91.20%. Cavite State University topped the shools with 98.78% or 81 out of 82 passed.
In the June 2019 Crim board exams, results were released after thirteen (13) working days. PRC listed 7,998 out of 20,797 who passed the series of tests. John Bonrev Roi Villasin Rodas from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation – Lucena City topped the board with 90.50%. University of the Cordilleras was the top performing school with 100% passing rate or all 101 takers passed.
In the December 2018 exams, PRC announced Criminologist board exam results in fifteen (15) working days. A total of 14,324 out of 41,341 (34.65%) passed the CLE. Ella Jeanne Chavez Salvador from Universidad de Zamboanga aced the board with 91.15%. Tarlac State University (TSU) was the top performing school with 98.25% or 56 out of 57 passed the exams.
