SEOUL, South Korea, July 25, 2024 — Global game developer and publisher Gravity has officially released the puzzle adventure ‘PIGROMANCE’ on Steam. Available as of July 25th, the game tells the story of a pig destined to become sausage who escapes a factory to find love.
Players will solve puzzles to escape the menacing Cuttingman and navigate the treacherous sausage factory. ‘PIGROMANCE’ features a charming chibi art style juxtaposed with dark lighting, unsettling visuals, sound effects, and spooky background music, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of unsettling fairytales.
Even before its official release, ‘PIGROMANCE’ garnered accolades for its innovative gameplay and concept. It received awards including the Excellence Prize at the 2024 INDIE CRAFT, ‘Best Indie’ Category in the MWU(Made With Unity) KR 2023, 1st place in the 2022 Level Up Showcase, 2nd place for 2022 G-STAR Indie Awards, and the Silver Award at the Global Indie Game Development Contest 2020. The game’s captivating storytelling and building suspense have been praised at various gaming events.
The official launch version is now accessible on Steam, offering support for nine languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and French. To celebrate the release, Gravity is offering a 20% discount until August 7th.
